At Amixalan we are looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in FEM simulation to join our advanced R&D calculations team. The successful candidate will participate in the design and calculation of metallic structures and joints, as well as in the development of internal engineering applications and tools. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to carry out innovative projects in different industry sectors.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Design and analysis of metallic structures and joints using FEM simulation.
• Definition and follow-up of laboratory test campaigns using a test bench.
• Support in the development of internal tools, macros (Excel VBA, Python) and internal engineering spreadsheets.
• Ensuring that all structural designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Reviewing and preparing technical documentation in the different phases of the project.

What are we looking for?

• Civil or mechanical engineer specialising in structural calculations.
• Experience in FEM simulation of Plastic Analysis, Geometric Non-linearity, Modal Analysis and Time-Domain problems.
• Experience in finite element design software (at least one of the following): ANSYS, ABAQUS, CodeAster.

The work centre will be in Pamplona.
